Description

Brontide® from Genomatica is a naturally sourced butylene glycol for use in a variety of personal care and cosmetic applications.

Brontide® 1,3 butylene glycol is produced from renewable, plant-based sugars using Geno’s innovative microbial fermentation technology.

Natural BG is a high-performance ingredient used in a variety of personal care and cosmetic applications as a humectant, solvent, viscosity enhancer, preservative booster, carrier for active cosmetic ingredients, and emollient.

It can also be used as a solvent and stabilizer for extracts and actives, and can be used to formulate moisturizers, sheet masks, serums, shampoos, conditioners, perfumes, and cosmetics.

Brontide® 1,3 butylene glycols is 100% biobased and USDA Biopreferred Program certified, using ASTM D6866-16 standards.
