ADBio PLA+ is a biobased and compostable additive that helps improve the mechanical properties of virgin PLA.
ADBio PLA+ can improve the impact resistance of virgin PLA by as much as 7x, making it less brittle and easier to process due to better flowability in processes such as injection molding, 3D filament extrusion, cast extrusion, blown film extrusion, hollow body blown extrusion, etc.
This additive is produced from mixed renewable sources, including corn, sugar cane and beet, and is certified as industrially compostable.
