UPM BioPiva™ lignin is a 100% bio-based, natural polymer with high purity and consistent product quality.

This purified kraft softwood lignin has excellent strength and adhesion properties and can be used as a bio-based substitute for petroleum products, such as petro-based phenol, in several application areas, including wood panels, composites, plastics, insulation, agriculture, and as raw material for resins and binders.

BioPiva lignin is a USDA-certified bio-based product.
