Neste’s Isoalkane comes from their proprietary and renewable NEXTBL technology, which converts natural oils and industrial waste streams into high-purity isoparaffinic oils with low sulfur and aromatic content. It is also readily biodegradable per OECD 301.
These fluids can be used to develop a broad range of paints, coatings, inks, adhesives, as well as lubricants, and metalworking fluids. Renewable isoalkanes can also be used to produce sustainable heat transfer fluids.
