TR-EECell Bio-Based Foam

Supplier: Trocellen

Description

Trocellen’s TR-EECell products are closed-cell polyethylene foams derived from sugarcane.

Specifically, TR-EECell foam is produced from ethanol derived from the fermentation of sugarcane juice, which is not suitable for human consumption. Trocellen also developed a system to make sure processing waste from sugarcane is reused, reducing environmental impact and promoting a circular economy.

TR-EEcell N and RN types are certified by an accredited external laboratory (DIN CERTCO) at >85% bio-based content according to ASTM D6866.

The product retains the same high technical features as other Trocellen polyethylene foam products, making it a reliable and effective material for various applications., including packaging, insulation, footwear, and sports equipment.

Overall, Trocellen’s closed-cell polyethylene foam is a sustainable and high-quality choice for those looking to adopt more eco-friendly materials in their production processes.
